ABOUT US
Medical Mystery Camp (MMC) offers under-resourced elementary school students the chance to become disease detectives. Through our immersive camp, 3rd-6th graders learn the basics of medical diagnosis and treatment, from taking vitals to reading basic x-rays to evaluating tissue samples under a microscope.
We not only teach medical knowledge but also foster critical thinking, teamwork, and analytical skills as students use medical clues to draw insights and conclusions. We also bring in medical professionals as guest speakers, including doctors and nurses, to provide an insider’s view of the medical field, igniting students’ interest in healthcare professions.
